It is with great pleasure that SUKA announces that it will be holding the annual
Chinese New Year dinner
on
27th February at 7pm
at the
Phoenix Palace, one of the top Chinese restaurants in London. The High Commissioner and his wife have also kindly agreed to grace the occasion. This is the website for the restaurant, including a map of how to get there for those who have not been before.

Held in conjunction with the Overseas Singaporean Unit, the dinner will feature the following menu and a Lucky Draw with the top prize of a return economy class ticket kindly provided by Singapore Airlines, and smaller prizes totalling almost £500, including home baked kueh lapis cakes and pineapple tarts, for some local flavour! There will also be live entertainment including a traditional Lion Dance.
The costs are as follows:
SUKA Members £25
SUKA Student Members £20
Non-members £35
For a table of 10, the cost will be £300. This is regardless of the composition of the attendees, i.e. can be a mix of SUKA members and non-members.
